 Welcome to Jojo’s Childminding – A Place Like Home
My name is Jolene, I am a registered childminder with 21 years child care experience working with children from 0 – 15 years of age. I have worked mainly as a Professional Nanny for various families in London. I have also worked for a year as a nursery nurse in Golders Green and whilst I was a student studying for my Diploma in Nursery Nursing NNEB and Diploma in Preschool Practice, I gained experience working with Triplets, Year 1 and nursery children under 5 years in a few nursery settings.
At Jojo’s Childminding I believe that every child is unique and I aim to provide a home environment which is safe, fun, warm and friendly. I have an inclusive approach and I welcome children into our home and provide an atmosphere which encourages the children to feel respected and valued and I encourage them to respect and value one another and to embrace society’s differences and cultural diversity. The children will have opportunities to play, learn and develop at their own age and stage of development whilst following the Early Years Foundation Stage EYFS. I want the children to have lots of fun, whilst exploring their world, their curiosity within a stimulating and safe learning environment. By providing activities and learning, I will be working towards preparing children for their next stage of starting school.
